Those written accounts run from 2010 to 2018 and stop there. Nothing has been written about this business in roughly eight years, so the rating describes a decade-old reputation, not current work. The written record is dated rather than missing. On credentials, the picture is unfinished. BBB gives an A+ rating while stating the business is not BBB accredited — two separate facts. BuildZoom claims a construction supervisor specialty licence plus five others but prints no number for any of them, and HomeAdvisor says outright that everything it shows about licences, insurance and bonds is self-reported. Nothing here has been confirmed against the state. Roofing-only work is exempt from Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration in any case, so the absence of an HIC number is not a mark against him. The right call for a straightforward reroof or a repair by someone who has done thousands of them locally and answers the phone in a storm. Before booking, ask for the licence numbers behind that six-record claim and check them yourself, ask for a certificate of insurance, and — because the public praise stops in 2018 — ask for two or three addresses he has roofed in the past year.
