On its BBB page the company describes itself as offering installation and maintenance for residential pools and spas, along with a retail store, and its website says it has been in business 32 years. A piece on litchfieldmagazine.com names Scott and Heather Meeker of Denscot Pool and Spa. It holds 4.7 stars from 53 Google ratings. A 2026 customer said Denscot had a difficult job of redoing an existing pool, and thanked Scott and his team. A 2024 customer said Denscot replaced their pump and pool heater in time to open the pool for the summer. A 2023 customer said they had their pool water checked at Denscot and were told which chemicals they needed. A 2022 customer said Denscot remodeled their existing Gunite pool, making it rectangular, adding steps across one end and a submerged bench at the other, resurfacing the interior, applying new tiles above the waterline and adding an electric cover; that 2022 customer wrote that Scott and his team started and finished when they said they would. A 2025 customer said they waited more than 2 weeks in the middle of summer for an update on fixing a pool heater Denscot installed less than 3 years earlier, and that they had stopped having it service the pool because they felt it overcharged for chemicals. A 2018 customer said scheduling for opening and closing service was unreliable, cover hardware was left strewn, and a skimmer they had asked to have tested was leaking when they arrived; that 2018 customer said Denscot never responded to calls and emails about it and still invoiced the full amount.
