Half of the 25 reviews on file for Derek Correa come from people who had already hired him. One customer writing in March 2026 had been calling him for more than four years; a Brockton landlord, in another March 2026 review, said Derek works for him on a regular basis across the rental properties he owns there. Derek Correa Electric works out of North Easton and covers the Brockton area. The company's own site says it has been in business since 2015 and offers free estimates on panel upgrades, rewiring, lighting and general electrical repairs, and BuildZoom's profile for the business shows 101 permitted electrical projects. Panel work is what customers describe most. March 2026 reviews cover a panel upgraded to 220v along with a new lamp post and new plugs, wiring and a panel upgraded for a new induction range and again for an electric water heater plus a new breaker for the A/C, a gas generator hooked into the breaker panel, and a panel upgrade paired with wiring a newly renovated room. A 2023 review describes replacing arc fault fuses in a condo association's power panels and checking the outdoor, kitchen and bath outlets for GFCI compliance. The smaller jobs fill in around that. An April 2026 customer lists exhaust fans, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, wall outlets and whole-house surge protection across multiple homes over the years; March 2026 reviews add bath exhaust fans, exterior lighting, light switches, and — for a homeowner who bought a house and found the previous owner's wiring needed correcting — new GFCIs, corrected wiring and new wiring for an extension. More than a third of the reviews mention promptness or a call returned quickly, and five of them talk about money. In March 2026 reviews, one customer said the estimate was right on and the final bill came in a few dollars under it, another said the cost estimates were spot on with no surprises, and a third described him as transparent about pricing. The lone BuildZoom review, from January 2026, describes a call returned immediately and an arrival on time and fully equipped. Two things to settle before booking. HomeAdvisor's profile says the business offers no emergency service, while an April 2026 reviewer mentions calling on him when an emergency arises — so ask how urgent calls are handled. HomeAdvisor also lists Trade License Number 11927 for the business and BuildZoom shows the same number with different particulars, so ask to see the licence itself. For recurring household electrical work — a panel that needs upgrading, a generator tie-in, lighting, outlets and switches, a landlord's punch list — Derek Correa is a straightforward call, and the people who use him once tend to use him again. Confirm the licence and the emergency question when you call.
Derek is extremely professional and always provides outstanding service. We have used him for multiple projects at our house both inside and outside of our house and the work is always top notch. He is always courteous while onsite. As well, when an emergency arises, like the recent snow storm, he is quick to respond and able to get everything working almost immediately.

Derek is AMAZING and efficient! I've used him over the years for multiple projects around my homes (install exhaust fans, ceiling fans, recess lighting, wall outlets, whole house surge protection, etc.) and recommended him to family and friends. He works quickly, provides honest feedback, pricing is fair and reasonable. More importantly, he keeps the working area clean and cleans up after the work is complete.
