Design Build Boston

Design Build Boston takes a renovation from the drawing to the finished room. BuildZoom's profile for the Charlestown company names Arick Dyrdal as its owner and lists kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions and whole-house renovations; the permits it shows from the past year are bathroom renovations and a porch replacement. Its written customer history is dated. The one account comes from a 2018 Angi review, where a customer called the company's visions innovative, said they were pleased with the work and mentioned hearing plenty of comments about it afterwards. The platform scores sit at 5.0 from two ratings on Angi and 5.0 from two on HomeAdvisor. On credentials: BuildZoom lists Home Improvement Contractor licence #202757 for the company, a number worth checking yourself against the Massachusetts register. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ letter grade, though the business is not accredited there, and BuildZoom gives it a BZ Score of 96, which it places in the top 20% of Massachusetts contractors. The profiles disagree about the basics, and that is the thing to sort out on the first call. BBB puts the company at 529 Main Street in Charlestown, in business ten years, with one employee listed. Angi and HomeAdvisor both put it at 1698 North Shore Road in Revere, eleven years of experience since 2015, with Spanish spoken and free estimates. BuildZoom says over four years. For a homeowner who wants design and construction under one roof for a kitchen or a bath, this is that kind of shop. Before signing, ask to see the bathroom jobs behind last year's permits, confirm licence #202757 with the state, and get the start date, the office you are actually dealing with, and who will be on site every day in writing.
