Dexter Painting Carpentry

In a June 2022 review, a homeowner described Dexter replacing the floor of their deck and re-doing the railings. In January 2023, another said he remodeled their deck, showed up on time or earlier, picked up after the work, moved everything back onto the deck and hauled away what they no longer wanted — and said the pricing was the best. Dexter Painting Carpentry works from 86 Highland Avenue in Weymouth. Its Angi and HomeAdvisor pages are the same listing carried on both sites: Approved Pro on each, free estimates, Spanish spoken, and a service list of decks, finish carpentry, trim, renovations and new construction. The Angi page says the reviews describe deck and porch repair done personally by Dexter, which matches how the customers write about him — by name, as the man who did the work. One thing on that page needs squaring: its About text claims service since 1999 while a separate highlight on the same profile says 17 years of experience. The other two accounts are brief. An April 2023 customer called the work quick, professional and well designed; in May 2023 another wrote that he stayed until the job was complete and would hire him again. Angi and HomeAdvisor each sit at 5.0 stars from three ratings, and Google carries a single five-star rating. The written accounts all date from 2022 and 2023. For a deck rebuild or trim and finish work around the South Shore, this is a sensible call — ask what he has built most recently, confirm he is the one on the tools for your job, and pin the scope down when you take the free estimate.
