Roger is the name in almost every review of Divisions Unlimited, and what the 2016 customers wrote about is how he sets a job up before anyone swings a hammer. One that September said he asked questions, offered alternatives and helped the household work out what the renovation was actually for. An August customer who was nervous about having the kitchen and the bathroom torn up at the same time got both back on time and on budget. The company remodels kitchens, bathrooms, basements and whole houses in MetroWest — Houzz places it in Framingham, Angi and HomeAdvisor in Natick — and its Houzz profile claims more than two decades in business and construction supervisor licence CS084641. Other 2016 customers described the habits that make a live-in renovation survivable: cleaning up daily with nothing left out overnight, coordinating the plumbers, and absorbing a run of defective materials the homeowner had bought himself. Two customers that same August had a harder time, and both landed on paperwork rather than workmanship. One wrote that what he believed had been verbally agreed as the scope of work was not what the contractor agreed to, and signed off with a lesson learned: get the scope understood, agreed and documented. The other said the process was extremely positive right up to the end, when he felt Roger needed to move on — the final inspection went unattended, and a month later he still had no inspections. Every written account is from 2016, so ask for a project finished in the last year and the phone number of the customer who had it done.
