DJ Tiles Group is a family-run tile and stone showroom in Marlborough, Massachusetts, that also sells countertops and flooring and handles installation for both homeowners and commercial clients. The company says it began as a tile installation outfit before opening the Marlborough showroom in 2017, and that the two brothers who run it, John and Jonathan, come from a German-Italian family that has kept it family-owned. The showroom experience is what reviewers keep coming back to. Across reviews from 2024 through 2026, Richard is named several times for walking customers through the tile and stone selection — patient and knowledgeable, more than one said. On the installation side, Google reviewers describe a kitchen floor tile job and a bathtub-to-shower tile conversion; an older 2017 Houzz review described a fireplace refaced floor-to-ceiling in ceramic tile. Google gives the company a 4.8-star average across 99 ratings. Two things are worth asking about before booking. In a 2024 review, a homeowner having a new-construction house tiled said a shower drain was zip-taped rather than properly set and leaked from day one, taking over a year to trace — a real installation defect worth raising directly, especially for a shower or tub surround. A 2023 review separately described a showroom visit where the staff came across as rude. DJ Tiles is a strong call for tile and stone selection and installation — a kitchen backsplash, a bathroom floor, a full shower surround — especially when in-person guidance on the material matters to you. Before signing off on a wet-area job like a shower, ask specifically how they test and set the drain and liner, and get the installation warranty in writing.
Five stars for DJ Tiles! They have a good selection of tiles and were very welcoming and helpful. Communication was prompt and clear and they were able to get the tile I wanted and schedule installation within a couple of weeks of my order. Installation was excellent; they did a great job and they left the area clean and neat. And I love my new bathroom floor. Thank you, DJ Tiles!
Had a great experience with them. Purchased our backsplash and they installed timely and were very professional. Would recommend
DJ Tiles have a beautiful and extensive selection. Richard was extremely helpful in our choice. He offered his expertise and gave us samples to bring home. Richard is truly an expert and we’re very happy with his opinion and our new tile floor. John and his staff did an excellent job installing the floor with minimal disruption.
We recently had our bathroom remodeled and hired DJ Tiles out of Marlborough for the tile work and vanity installation. The company is family-owned, run by two brothers, John and Jonathan, and they were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were personable, knowledgeable, and always took the time to explain everything clearly. They kept the workspace clean and organized, and consistently showed up exactly when they said they would. Most importantly, the tile work came out absolutely beautiful—it truly exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend DJ Tiles to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and reliable service!
We had two brothers from DJ Tiles, a family-owned business, come tile my parents’ bathroom, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. They were incredibly personable, informative, and took the time to explain everything along the way. They treated my parents’ home with so much respect—keeping the space clean and organized throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail really shows in the final result. The work is absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Highly recommend DJ Tiles if you’re looking for quality craftsmanship and genuinely good people to work with!
