For a Northborough moving company, the office is carrying as much of the reputation as the trucks. The crews earn their share. Recent moves describe furniture wrapped and padded, a house emptied without a scratch on a wall, blankets laid over new floors during a rainy unload, and one crew that disassembled everything on the way out and put it back together on the way in. Speed comes up constantly: a door-to-door apartment move done in two hours, a full house wrapped and delivered to a storage unit in about three. The work isn't only local either — customers describe a Massachusetts-to-Michigan haul, a pickup and delivery spanning three states, and furniture held in storage more than six years before shipping to South Carolina. When it goes wrong, it is the invoice or the damage claim, not the labor. One customer was billed $229 an hour, charged travel time back to the company's hub, and said contents were never itemized or stickered. Another spent $5,500 on materials, felt already-boxed items had been taped and stuffed unnecessarily, and found three different companies handling the load between Massachusetts and Florida. A military move this summer reported a sectional, a dining table, a bed frame and two televisions scratched and destroyed. One more described careless handling of valuables and feeling pushed into tipping the crew anyway. These are a minority of a long, mostly positive history — but they cluster the same way each time: something breaks, then the argument is about the claim. So the useful preparation is specific. Get the estimate written out with hourly rate, travel time, materials and storage broken out as separate lines, and ask outright whether any leg of a long-haul move will be handed to another carrier. Buy valuation coverage before move day, not after something cracks. Photograph and inventory your own belongings — more than one of these disputes turned on who had documented what. For a local or regional move run by their own crews, this is a company with years of customers who would book them again without hesitating. For a long-haul move full of things you can't replace, they're still a reasonable call — just go in with the paperwork tight.

DN Van Lines was great! Mike was organized, smart and precise with setting everything up. Cesar, Willy and Benol worked their tail off and did not cause any damage or even a scratch on a wall. Definitely recommend and will use them in the future.

**military move** Absolutely worst company the navy could have possibly sent to move our things. Our sectional, dinning room table, bed frame and our 75 in and 50 inch tvs completely scratched and destroyed. The day of the move we were told by movers that we did not have to stay since we were driving cross country had us sign paper work and we left (our first mistake) they left furniture in our home on base and had no one to grab it for us so the office continued charging us rent till the movers could come back for it and no one notified us till the following week that anything was left. Then when all our things did arrive our furniture was put into pods till our house was ready and they had taken apart the majority of the furniture with no labels at least one piece of the larger pieces of furniture are missing. They reassured us multiple times they would have zero problems and practically ushered us out of our home day of move. Now that we are unpacking and seeing it all i am in complete shock. We moved from Washington DC to Florida. I have a cream colored couch that was so poorly wrapped in plastic it has black stains half of it now from being slid around on the ground. My dinning room table is scratched beyond belief and the bench that goes with it had heavy boxes left on it while it was standing upright that it has ripped off the pedestal legs. We’re talking about a 1500$ dinning room table, bench and chairs. If your a military family or someone who values your things because the world is expensive now, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and if the military send them to help your cross country move expect a lot of damages and do not leave your house till they are done and watch how they pack your valuables. It doesn’t allow me to post pictures unfortunately but it’s shocking. We are absolutely devastated even our 5 month olds crib is missing pieces. Good luck to you if you get stuck with this company

Could not recommend this company enough. Elizabeth, our move coordinator, was clear, easy to communicate with, and always available for any questions we had. We had a team of 3 movers help us out day-of, and they worked SO hard, non-stop from the moment they got there- not to mention on a very hot day! When we arrived at our new home, they asked us about each piece of furniture, and placed it in the room exactly where we would want it, set everything up. Overall very thorough, and we were very impressed!

I have had my furniture in storage with them for 6+ years. I finally moved it to our second home in SC. They have gone far beyond my expectations on beholding my forever furniture. Liz was amazing on coordinating my move seamlessly. The movers were professional and so patient with me trying to find the right fit. I knew I had more furniture than I needed, Liz said no problem , send it back and they would donate it to women in need. I highly recommend them. A local business who takes care of their local clients and beyond. I thank them so very much!!
