Drake Cabinets — doing business as Kitchen Tune-Up — is a Massachusetts cabinet shop that homeowners keep coming back to: one Angi reviewer writing in late 2025 said it was the third job she'd hired owner Bob for. The company's own materials disagree on exactly how long it's been around — a BBB listing says 59 years, an Angi highlight claims 38, and Angi's own About Us text says the team has been together since the business started in 2003 — so treat any single tenure figure with some skepticism. What comes through clearly across its written reviews, though, is a pattern: cabinet refacing and restoration jobs, mostly kitchens, done by a crew reviewers call responsive and detail-oriented. In a 2021 review, a customer described Bob Landers and his team making a dated 1982 kitchen look new, staying on time, and coming back after final payment to fix a couple of minor issues at no extra fuss. In a 2017 review, another homeowner recalled Bob personally taking apart and reinstalling a lazy susan cabinet that wasn't working right, until it worked perfectly. Worth knowing before calling: reviews from 2011 through 2015 are signed by a different name, Paul Demejian, while more recent ones point to Bob Landers — the business appears to have changed hands somewhere along the way, and its BBB and Angi profiles even list different Massachusetts addresses (Stoneham versus Ipswich). None of that shows up as a complaint about the work itself, but it's reasonable to confirm who you'd actually be dealing with today. For a kitchen that needs new cabinet doors, refacing, or a restoration rather than a full gut renovation, the reviews on file — spanning 2017 to 2025 — consistently describe a responsive, hands-on owner. Get current contact details and confirm which entity and address you're contracting with before signing anything.

This is the 3rd job that I have worked with Bob on. He is the utmost professional and always provides honest insight, ideas and feedback . My new kitchen looks absolutely amazing. I highly recommend him and his team!!!
Bob Landers and his team of professionals did an amazing job making my 1982 kitchen look beautiful. They were such a talented crew. All of them were focused, responsive and on time. Bob responded to all of my questions quickly. He was very accommodating and came back to fix some minor issues after job was completed and fully paid. We are very happy with our new kitchen and would highly recommend Bob and his crew. Cost was reasonable as well.
Bob and his team did a great job at a great price, and saved us even more money by creatively moving tile so that we did not have to redo the wall behind the backsplash. They were professional, fast and responsive. We love our updated kitchen!
Bob and his team are incredible! They are extremely professional and very skilled craftsmen. Bob is easy to contact and very responsive. Their work is impeccable and we our so happy with how our kitchen looks. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Bob and his crew and we would hire them again in a second.
The project went very smoothly. Bob Landers the owner of the company is very professional and very easy to work with. He was very responsive to all of my questions or requests. Always on time and prepared for our appointments. At the end of the project we realized that the lazy susan cabinet was not working correctly. Bob came over himself and totally took apart the cabinet and re-installed it. It now works perfectly. That attention to detail is why we chose Kitchen Tune-Up for our kitchen project.
