Drywall Plus, Inc.

Drywall Plus has been patching, painting and turning over Boston's housing stock since 1989. The Dorchester company describes itself as a facilities-management and construction outfit — drywall, painting, flooring, cabinets and appliances, and unit turnovers — working mainly through MassHousing, affiliated property-management companies and tenant organizations across metro Boston. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #110912, is active on the state registry, and its Supplier Diversity Office minority business enterprise certification is verified active. The Better Business Bureau carries an A+ for the company and lists Frank Harris Jr. as president, six employees, and a corporation dating to 1989. A November 2024 Google reviewer described a kitchen renovation: the crew worked fast, cleaned up well afterward, and the customer said they would recommend the company to anyone else renovating. One thing to raise directly: BuildZoom's permit list includes a 2016 Malden order to remove illegal work, alongside a 2009 precast stairs job in the same city. For a property manager or a tenant organization in metro Boston, this is the company's daily work. A homeowner calling about a kitchen, a ceiling repair or a repaint should ask whether they take single-family jobs, get the scope and schedule in writing, and ask what the 2016 Malden order involved.
