Dunford Tree Service

After a February blizzard left fallen trees and branches in one customer's yard, Dunford Tree Service removed a tree damaged beyond saving, cleared other fallen wood and ground four stumps. In an April 2026 Google review, the customer described the cleanup in particular: the crew gathered the smaller branches from the lawn and finished with leaf-blowers, sparing the customer the extra cleanup they had expected. Dunford is based in Forestdale. Its website lists tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, storm response, land clearing, cabling and bracing, planting and landscape design, with a service area covering Cape Cod towns from Sandwich to Provincetown. The owner says they grew up on Cape Cod and started the business to help the local community maintain healthy, safe trees. Google lists a 5-star average from 54 ratings. Customers describe Jack and his crew handling trees close to buildings and utility lines. Another April 2026 reviewer said the team removed three large pines near two homes and hanging over power lines, cleaned up afterward and offered a price the customer favored over seven other quotes. A June reviewer described several tree removals with stump grinding and praised Jack's responsiveness and punctuality. In a May review, a customer described tree removal and brush clearing, timely scheduling, reasonable pricing and a clean yard; they had already hired the team again for other projects. Older accounts describe how the crew approached difficult removals. In an October 2025 review, Brian and Bonnie Wright of Osterville described a 15-tree project, including large oaks over the house. They said the crew used ropes and pulleys to lower cuts without hitting the house, started on time and finished as planned. Jack later returned to loam and seed tracks left by the equipment. A separate October 2025 reviewer described about two dozen large trees being removed, with a subcontracted crane needed because access was difficult. Smaller jobs draw detailed accounts too. A January 2026 reviewer described having about six large rhododendron bushes removed from in front of their house. They said Jack responded quickly, protected the lawn and cleaned up afterward, and tried to save bushes for transplanting at their request.
