One thing to settle before any residential job: the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration in the company's name, #186569, is expired on the state registry. Ask the company where that registration stands now and get the certificate in writing before you sign. For a commercial or municipal renovation — the work these permits describe — this is an established, certified builder with federal and town jobs behind it. For work on your own house, sort out the registration and a current certificate of insurance first.
