Eagle Enterprises is a Framingham outfit whose paper trail is almost entirely roofs. Every permit BuildZoom carries for the company is a Medfield roofing job — a $159,700 metal roof on Main Street in 2022, a $25,000 EPDM re-roof on Granite Street the same year, and a $16,000 tear-off and replacement on Rustic Lane in 2024. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 195695, is active and held in the company's own name. BuildZoom lists Marc Green as the owner. The customer record is thin and old. One review, posted in November 2020, gives five stars and describes a Medfield job that combined a flat rubber roof, a new entrance with a tin roof and black seamless gutters; the homeowner wrote that the owner was on site for the whole project and made requested changes without pushback. That is the entire written account of their work, and it is nearly six years old. One other thing worth knowing: ProPublica's database of federal coronavirus contracts lists an Eagle Enterprises, Inc. in Framingham as a first-time contractor, flagged in that data as minority owned. So: a licensed roofer with a handful of real, permitted jobs in one town and a single, dated recommendation. That is enough to take a quote from, not enough to skip the homework. Ask for two or three references from the last year, confirm the registration number against the state's own lookup, and get the roofing warranty terms in writing before signing.
