East Coast Mini Splits & Heat Pumps runs out of Pembroke, installing ductless mini-splits, heat pumps and ducted systems around the South Shore. The same names keep turning up across the write-ups — Chris, Tim, Peter, and Nancy running rebate paperwork in the office — which stands out enough that reviewers comment on it directly. The jobs described go beyond routine installs: a mini split added to an upstairs bedroom after another company had called the location impossible, an outdoor unit's leak traced to a single failing copper connector through a full pressure test, and an AC callout on a Monday morning fixed by 8 a.m. A recurring thread is the Mass Save rebate process — Nancy and the office staff are repeatedly credited with handling that paperwork end to end, which several reviewers said was the part they'd dreaded most before hiring. One 2★ review from March 2026 is worth reading closely: the reviewer said their mini splits threw error codes and struggled to keep up once winter turned very cold or snowy, and separately found the Mass Save rebate slower and more stressful than it had been made to sound. That's the one dissenting account in an otherwise consistent record, and it's worth asking directly how a proposed system is sized for New England's coldest stretches, not just the summer cooling load. For anyone comparing heat-pump or mini-split quotes, the pattern here is a company built around walking customers through the Mass Save incentive process and following up after the install rather than disappearing once the truck leaves.
“Mine installed by East Coast Mini Splits / Graham Built, based in Pembroke MA. The A/C is lovely.”
A pleasure to work with. Peter was prompt, communicated quickly and clearly with updates, had state of the art software to measure my house and show me what our new system would look like installed in real time on his iPad and instantly calculate what sizing we would need for ceiling cassette and wall mounted heat pumps. He had an estimate out to me for the two systems I was deciding between in less than a few hours which was impressive. He was also very helpful and knowledgable about the Mass Save program. The quote was transparent, no hidden costs, fair and we did not feel upsold on anything or pressured in any way. East Coast's price was much more reasonable than several other vendors who wanted to offer inferior choice in product for far more money. On install day, Kevin, Leo, John, Luke, James, Peter and Eric were out the first day and were like a well rehearsed small army, you could tell they knew what they were doing and worked well together. The were friendly, neat and organized, covered everything in my home impeccably, were very respectful of the yard and careful with everything inside. Their install work was level, clean, extremely conscientious and detail oriented, they completed almost 90% of the job on the first day ahead of schedule and I didn't find a speck of dust when I got home from work. All of the units look great installed, they function perfectly, and we could not be more happy with using East Coast Mini Splits and Heat Pumps. We decided to go with them because of the over 120+ five star reviews on Google but just the general pleasant interaction from the start and not having to chase them to get answers to our many questions before pulling the trigger on this project. It is always nice when something comes to completion exceeding expectations as this job did. Would definitely recommend East Coast Mini Splits and Heat Pumps to anybody interested in ceiling cassette and wall mount heat pumps and no I was not offered a discount or compensated for this review, I am just thrilled with how awesome this team was!
