Ed Electrician works out of Framingham and has been doing residential electrical work for about eight years, according to its own Thumbtack profile โ outlet and switch installs, wiring repairs, GFCI work, lighting, and panel or breaker jobs make up the bulk of what's listed, with 19 completed projects shown on the platform. The reviews that come through are short but specific, and a few details keep repeating: clean work and no wasted time. One customer had four outlets rewired and another fixed for $420 and called it a fair price for the scope; another had a GFCI outlet installed without any drywall cut open, something they said other electricians had told them couldn't be avoided. A third called for an outdoor outlet for a TV and had it quoted and finished the same day. Thumbtack puts the overall record at 4.7 stars from 137 ratings and 257 logged hires, with 89% of those ratings at 5 stars. Worth knowing before calling: Thumbtack's own breakdown shows about 6% of those 137 ratings sitting at just 1 star, and none of that shows up in the five written reviews here โ the picture above is the strongest and newest of what's on file, not necessarily the full spread. For everyday home electrical work โ outlets, switches, lighting, a panel or breaker job โ this is a shop with a real, specific track record behind it. Past customers describe getting a quote up front before the work starts, which is a reasonable thing to ask for too.

Ed did a great job rewiring 4 outlets and fixing another outlet in a separate room. The work was clean, the price was $420 which felt reasonable for what was involved, and everything works perfectly now. Would hire again.
Here's a concise, natural review you could leave: Eddie did a great job installing our chandelier and helped with a few other electrical requests as well. He was professional, efficient, and his work was clean and well done. He explained everything clearly and made sure everything was working before leaving. I would definitely recommend him.
I hired Ed and he was quick to come out and get the work done! After looking at the project, he quoted me and did the work on the same day! I had an outlet installed outside for an outdoor TV.
Ed electrician did a fantastic job for installing the outlet under the sink for a fair cost. He is dedicated to the work and finished it cleanly.
Ed did an excellent job installing our GFCI outlet. He was efficient, punctual, and cleaned up thoroughly after himself. Most impressively, he completed the work without cutting any holes in the wall, something other electricians had said couldn't be avoided. Professional, skilled, and easy to work with. I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him without hesitation.
