Edge Pro Flooring sells, installs and repairs flooring for homes and commercial spaces on Massachusetts' North Shore, working out of Middleton and reachable on (978) 739-9109. It positions itself as a full-service supplier rather than a fitter alone: helping choose the product to suit the room and the budget, measuring, scheduling and installing, and standing behind the result. The less usual half of the business is cleaning. It runs a carpet, area-rug and upholstery cleaning arm using a Von Schrader air-cell extraction system, which it says leaves only about 10 percent moisture so carpets dry in hours rather than days, and it also cleans and deodorises walls and ceilings. It describes its technicians as I.I.C.R.C. certified, its products as Green Seal certified and wool-safe, and itself as a certified Wool Safe operator — all of which are the company's own claims rather than anything confirmed against a registry. What there isn't is a customer record. Its Houzz profile has never been reviewed, only two small project galleries are posted, and no licence number appears anywhere. Flooring-only work is exempt from Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, so the absence of a registration is not a mark against them — but it does mean nothing here has been independently checked. Treat this as an unrated listing. If you call, ask for the I.I.C.R.C. certification number and the certificate of insurance, ask which product lines they carry and what the installation warranty actually covers, and ask for two or three recent local references — especially if you want the cleaning service, which is a different job from laying a floor.
