ElectriChris is Chris David's one-person electrical business, working out of Boston on jobs that run from a single outlet to full lighting and panel work. The review history across Angi and HomeAdvisor is close to uniform: 4.9 stars from 20 ratings on each platform, with an earlier Angi tally of 4.9 from 16 ratings. Customers describe him as punctual, communicative and reasonably priced across a wide mix of jobs -- new outlets for appliances, light fixture swaps, recessed lighting, and rewiring after a DIY mishap. In a 2025 review, one customer said they had called ElectriChris for nine separate projects between 2018 and 2024, describing the work as neat, code-compliant and professional. The one exception in an otherwise glowing record is a 3-star Angi review from mid-2026: the job itself was finished on time, but the customer described hearing Chris scolding an employee, and said a broken light fixture was set aside without being reported to them. It is the only complaint of its kind on record and worth asking about directly. ElectriChris is also a BBB-accredited business, carrying an A+ grade since 2018. For straightforward residential electrical work -- outlet installs, fixture swaps, panel-adjacent jobs -- ElectriChris has a long, mostly consistent track record; just confirm communication expectations up front given the account above.
My ceiling light and medallion was installed expertly!
This job was for an outlet to be installed for a fairly new dishwasher, which I had temporarily hooked up to an extension cord. It turned out to be more difficult than expected, due to the way the dishwasher was situated. Chris came back with a second person and was able to complete the job. He found that because of the type of wiring, he could not replace the breaker with the type he wanted to use and he adjusted the original quote downward significantly because of that. I would not hesitate to hire him again.
Very professional!
Chris was personable and got the job done timely however... - heard him yelling/scorning an employee in a quite over the top manner - someone broke a light fixture on the stairs and instead of repairing or at least informing us they left it to the side - without telling us, turned off the power to the basement which also included a socket with a carbon monoxide detector attached so at 3am we had it beeping with a low battery - threw out all of their garbage from the job in our personal trash barrel, filling it up to the brim so with 5 days until the next trash pickup we couldn?t put any of our trash in our own barrel
Chris was great, helpful, respectful and overall incredible to work with. 10/10 would recommend
