Elegance Design Center describes itself on Houzz as a business whose specialty is kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels and additions, with a home remodeling company that provides the installations. On HomeAdvisor it calls itself a family owned business. Its BBB grade is A+. A 2017 HomeAdvisor review lists a whole bathroom job by Mr Gomes and his team: demolition of the entire bathroom including a massive Jacuzzi tub, plumbing moved to a new configuration, new electrical wiring and outlets, tile walls and floor, and an electric heated floor. That review mentions a few delays waiting for inspectors, and says they did work a Saturday to stay on track. In a 2014 review, Mr. Gomes and his crew remodeled a kitchen/breakfast room with a new tile floor, granite counters and a tile backsplash, along with a master bathroom and a second full bath. The same 2014 review says he asks the customer to directly purchase tile, grout and fixtures and have them available before the start of the job. A 2016 review describes two brothers Mr Dioclecio Gomes brought over to paint three rooms digging little v-shaped channels along cracks in 100 year old plaster walls, plastering them, and applying a skim coat before the paint went on. In a 2014 review, Mr. Gomes explained what he thought was causing water damage, then repaired it and cleaned up the mess completely. A 2015 four-star review said the paint looked good and the floors came out great, but noted a certain amount of upselling and some requested details that seemed to be lost in the game of telephone.

Highly recommend Mr. Gomes and his team! They are professional and respectful. He takes responsibility of his work and his crew and this has been the most professional group of contractors I have worked with in my construction admin career of over 12 years! Their workmanship is of great quality. No need to look elsewhere. Reach out to Mr. Gomes and have confidence in that you have a good team taking care of your project!

Mr Gomes and his team did a great job. He gave us a detailed quote which listed everything that was included and the items we needed to cover ourselves. The work he did included: - Demo entire bathroom, including a massive Jacuzzi tub - Move plumbing to new configuration - New electrical wiring and outlets - Sheetrock and cement board - Tile walls and floor. Paint walls and trim. - Install electric heated floor - Build two partial walls - Install vanity, tub, toilet - Install ceiling fan, lights, mirrors, towel warmer, wall heater, recirculating water pump - Build a full hight closet There were a few delays waiting for inspectors. Mr Gomes and his subcontractors were always on time. He was juggling other jobs, but was always able to get his guys to our project when they needed to be there. They did work a Saturday to stay on track. Every worker that Mr Gomes brought into our house was competent, friendly and hard-working. The subcontractors he used were long-time business partners, they obviously had a very good relationship. Each crew member was courteous and very conscious that the project was disruptive to us. They went above and beyond what was in our contract. They handled lots of little details that we didn't even think of. The work was performed with great care and our bathroom is beautiful. Mr Gomes is the BEST contractor we have ever worked with and will get all future jobs from us.
