Elite Floorcraft

Elite Floorcraft is a Boston hardwood flooring company — installation and refinishing — that its Houzz profile dates to 1991, where it carries a Houzz Award and a five-star rating from a single rater. One warning sits against that. On a directory site, a commenter writing as a former employee of the company rated it one star, questioned the honesty of a man he names as Carl, said he was not paid what he was owed, and accused him of taking from customers' homes and local businesses. That post is one person's account, and he writes as a former worker rather than a customer — but it is worth raising directly before you sign anything. Ask for references from recent hardwood jobs you can call, get proof of insurance, and tie payments to milestones rather than paying up front.
