Two and a half weeks to lay hardwood through an entire 3,000-square-foot house — that is what one homeowner described in a 2022 review of Elite Hardwood Floors, and jobs at that scale run through the Woburn company's history. The company says it installs, refinishes, stains and repairs hardwood floors and also installs laminate and luxury vinyl plank, with Woburn as its stated service area. What you notice reading its Google reviews is that people write about Ricky, not about a company: the owner's name is in nine of the eleven, going back to 2021. Those eleven reviews all sit at five stars, and the work they describe is the harder end of flooring. A 2022 customer had maple installed in three rooms plus the stairs and hallway while another room was refinished. A 2021 project ran in phases — existing hardwood refinished, new hardwood installed to match the rest of the house. A 2025 buyer of a new home wanted the carpet-covered stairs and upstairs landing converted. In May 2026, a family-room floor and its steps went in over two days before sanding, coating and sealing, and that customer called Ricky meticulous about putting up barriers. Two people wrote as long-term customers in March 2026. One said they had been using Ricky and his crew for about ten years, calling the work high quality and the communication more important still; another said they had used the company for both of their houses and referred it for commercial work. Price comes up twice: "beyond reasonable" in a March 2026 review, and a 2021 customer who said his pricing is fair. The estimate visit is where the choices get made — a June 2026 customer had Ricky Nguyen assess the floors first and advise on the approach and the finish. That is the conversation to come prepared for. For a whole-house install, for matching new boards to floors you are keeping, or for getting carpet off a staircase, this is that kind of crew. Ask what the quote covers through sanding and finishing, and pin down how many days they need in the house.

Elite Hardwood Floors did an amazing job on our family room floor. They were professional and efficient from start to finish. They were able to install the floor and steps in two days before they sand, coat and sealed the room. Ricky was meticulous in putting up barriers to cause the least amount of dust outside of the work area. I would highly recommend Ricky and his crew to family and friends.
