Elliott Tree is a tree service whose website says Certified Arborist Graeme Elliott has a degree in Arboriculture and works for commercial and residential customers in the Worcester and Metro West areas of Massachusetts. The towns it lists run from Holden, Rutland and Princeton out to Shrewsbury, Marlborough and Westborough. A recent Google customer said the team took down and disposed of 3 large dead trees in a morning, working in tight quarters close to a busy road and overhead utilities, with no significant impact to lawn and planting areas. A Shrewsbury customer who bought an acre of neglected land said Graeme and team removed 10+ trees that were a threat to their home, cut hundreds of saplings and structurally pruned two large trees that overhung their power lines; that customer wrote that the pricing was based on labor, not per tree. A recent customer who has used Elliot Tree many times said Graeme and his crew leave no mess behind. A 2025 customer said Graeme stopped by for a free estimate, saw that a large pine in front of the house was going to fall, and had his men and cranes out within a day. A 2025 customer who had 4 trees removed and several rhododendrons pruned said the team arrived on time and raked and blew away the smaller twigs when they were done. A 2024 customer said they came right out to clear a huge oak limb that had dropped across the driveway. A 2023 customer said a bucket truck damaged a wet lawn because no plywood was put down and a small tractor left deep tire tracks, and that emails went unanswered; that 2023 customer did praise the pruning and its price. A 2022 customer said branches were left over the yard, two trees were missed and took 2-3 additional weeks to come back for, and the machinery took a chunk out of the driveway. A 2022 customer who hired them to remove mulberry bushes and 4 maple trees said a worker drove the cherry picker truck up the driveway and the hill into the backyard, tearing up the lawn. On Google it holds 4.3 stars from 70 ratings, Angi shows 4.7 stars from 179 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+.
Graeme and Sam are two of the best people to work with. They are extremely professional, courteous and friendly. Hard working and very clean. They did an excellent job for us. I highly recommend them for whoever needs to have trees taken down. We used them in past as well, a few years ago and they also were great back then. Thank you so much, we really appreciate you.
Elliot Tree made an extremely difficult job look easy. Working in very tight quarters close to a busy road and overhead utilities, their team took down and disposed 3 large dead trees in a morning with no significant impact to lawn and planting areas. They are expert at what they do and I will not hesitate to call them in next time.
We have used Elliot Tree many times over the past few years. Graeme and his crew are respectful, polite, hardworking and get the job done efficiently and they leave no mess behind. I trust Graeme’s expertise on assessing the health of our trees and what should be done with them. I highly recommend them.
Highly Recommend Elliott Tree! We moved to Shrewsbury a few years back and bought an acre of land that had been severely neglected. Everyone told us tree removal would cost a fortune! Graeme and team were thrilled to tackle the tedious job of removing 10+ trees that were a threat to our home. Cutting and removing hundreds of saplings & structurally pruning two large but healthy trees that overhung our power lines. Access to our backyard is tough and we even had pallets of patio pavers and crushed stone blocking the driveway. They had all the proper machines and tools to move them and put them in a better position out of the way. They took meticulous care of our property and their expertise was clear. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, based on labor not per tree! If you’ve been putting off tree removal, definitely give Elliott Tree a call, we cannot recommend them enough!
