Angi and HomeAdvisor publish the same five reviews as mirrors of each other, so the two perfect scores are one source, not two, and both carry those platforms' own 'Approved' marker, which is a directory designation rather than any independent certification. No licence number appears on any profile, and none was confirmed against the state registry; Massachusetts exempts floor-covering-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration, so that absence is not a mark against them — but if your job extends into stairs, subfloor or tile beyond floor covering, ask how it is registered and insured.
