Ask the people who hired Emond Brothers what they remember and you get a designer's name. Four of the 2025 reviews name theirs — Shannon in two of them, Pam in two more — and others thank "our designers" for the ideas that shaped the room. A 2022 client named Tori the same way. The company works out of a showroom at 153 Broadway in Raynham, says it was founded in 1984, and puts itself at 42 years in business. The BBB lists the same 1984 start, grades it A+ without accrediting it, and names Francis (Pete) R. Emond as president; its page describes the business by its product lines — wall coverings, kitchen cabinets and countertops, floor coverings. The 2025 accounts are mostly whole rooms rather than single pieces. One client had every bathroom and the kitchen remodeled that April, plus carpeting and hardwood in several rooms. Another wrote in March 2025 that the company had redone two bathrooms and built a new one in the basement, and that they had it back three times. A January 2025 client said the plumbing, tile, electrical, inspectors and carpentry were all scheduled by Emond and the project stayed on schedule — that coordination is the part worth paying for here. In February 2025, a homeowner described Mike Silva, whom they called the owner, walking their kitchen and going step by step through cabinets, countertops and flooring. The written history runs back to 2014: a 2016 Houzz client described a stone fireplace wall with StarMark cabinetry and came back for another project a couple of years later; a January 2014 reviewer had hardwood put in three rooms and a tile floor in a bathroom, and gave four stars for a crew that cleaned up and finished on time. The sour note is recent, and it is about reaching them rather than the work. In June 2025, someone planning a 100k kitchen renovation wrote that a person came down and measured, they never heard from him again, and they found the store locked. Google sits at 4.7 from 22 ratings with that review in the mix; Houzz shows 4.8 from 5. If you want a kitchen or bathroom designed and run by one shop — selections made in the showroom, trades scheduled for you — that is what Emond does. Ask who your designer will be, and set a firm follow-up date at the measure so the quote does not go quiet.
“Malloch homes, Joe pointed out, cover the full value spectrum from the modest to the multimillion dollar level. The company relies on a large cadre of subcontractors to produce a turnkey domicile - a team that reads like a Southeastern Massachusetts construction Who’s Who, from Emond Brothers, Emond Plumbing & Heating, Richie’s Insulation and Plasse Masonry to Remco Concrete, Spillane’s Nursery & Landscaaping, and Beaver Express, to name just a few.”
This place is a joke. I scheduled an appointment for my 100k kitchen renovation. A person came down from emonds, measured my kitchen and I never heard from him again. The store is always locked. I called one day on 6/20/25 at 245pm and tried to make an appointment to get in the showroom but the woman who answered was not interested in helping me and said she was leaving soon and that the other designer left 10 minutes ago. The website says open until 500pm. I will take my 100k and find a kitchen remodeling place that appreciates my hard earned money. Whoever runs this place is a joke. Bye!
