Energy Nerds LLC is an insulation outfit, and a recent customer who hired it to insulate an attic said they showed up exactly on time, priced the job fairly against other quotes, and that the air conditioning now keeps the house cool. A 2026 customer said Eric and his crew did air sealing and blown-in insulation on all the exterior walls of their mother's house, with a night and day difference in her heating and cooling. A 2025 customer said the crew insulated both the attic and basement, showed up on time and kept the home clean and protected. A 2024 customer said Eric explained what he was doing and why. A 2025 customer called the business a scam, saying they paid a 50% down payment, he never showed up to do the work, and no refund arrived. BBB gives it an F grade and lists three complaints. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0671290, as inactive due to non-renewal of credential, held by ENERGY NERDS LLC.
recently hired Energy Nerds to insulate my home attic, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Punctual & Professional: They showed up exactly on time and got straight to work. Great Pricing: The cost was just right and very fair compared to other quotes I looked at. Amazing Quality: They did a fantastic job. I can already feel a massive difference—my air conditioning is finally working properly and keeping the house cool. Plus, I feel totally confident that the house is going to stay perfectly warm this coming winter.
Eric and his crew came out and took care of my mother house. Did air sealing, blown in insulation on all the exterior walls. Night and day difference in her heating and cooling as well as the comfort We Highly recommend.
