In 2025, Eric Gelmete of Eric Gelmete Electric wired a new kitchen for one customer and also came on an emergency call when the boiler wasn't working. On another 2025 job, Eric added recessed lighting in the kitchen, dining room and living room, installed new light fixtures and a ceiling fan, and updated all switches and plugs in a partially finished basement; that customer wrote that he kept them informed throughout the entire process and gave straightforward pricing with no surprises. A 2026 review says 7 smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were replaced on the same day the inquiry was made, with careful and neat work. In another 2026 review, Eric explained some basics of a GFCI outlet when asked and helped label the circuit breakers, and the GFCI outlet was replaced. In 2025, Eric examined a thermostat and heating system and was quick to diagnose and fix the loose wires that were found. Also in 2025, after another contractor's machine caused an outlet to fail and knocked out all the outlets in the circuit, he quickly figured out the problem and explained it, at what that customer called a very fair price. A 2025 customer wrote that Eric cleaned and swept up after himself. Angi and HomeAdvisor list licence number 56936.

Responded to request for service quickly and efficiently. Replaced 7 smoke/carbon monoxide detectors on same day that inquiry was made. Came when he said he would and was careful and neat in his work and very experienced and knowledgeable.
Eric was recommended to me by a family member and I’m glad I went with him. He was professional and explained some basics of the GFCI outlet when I asked. He also helped me label the circuit breakers of the unit so I can identify them if/when a circuit breaker trips. The GFCI outlet was replaced and good to go now.
Eric was extremely thorough in examining and checking my thermostat and heating system. He was also quick to diagnose and fix the loose wires that were found. All in all a great experience and would hire again !
He was so fast and efficient, I really appreciated his helpfulness and direct approach.
