Kevin A Escott holds Massachusetts electrician licence 20082, active on the state registry. In 2018, a BuildZoom customer wrote that after a power surge, a 24-hour company told them they needed a lot of work at a crazy price; they found Kevin through neighbor to neighbor, and he came right away and was reasonably priced. A 2017 customer wrote that Kevin A. Escott and his team turned a basement they called a horrible pit into a living space, with everything done on a timely basis. That 2017 customer also said the workmen closed the gate so the dog would not get out and took away some leftover junk. A 2018 Google customer wrote of poor response time and poor planning, called the billing offensive and the pricing outlandish, and said work was left for somewhat trained staff to complete. A 2020 Google customer called the company expensive and non-responsive, and said getting them to come back to correct an installation issue they caused was like talking to a brick wall.
Worse contractor I've every used. Expensive, non responsive and always making excuses. Trying to get them to come over to correct an installation issue that they caused is like talking to a brick wall. Buyer beware!!!
I had a power surge which scared the heck out of me; called a 24 hour company that told me I needed all this work and wanted to charge me crazy price, found Kevin in neighbor to neighbor and he came right away and was so reasonably priced, would recommend 100%, thanks Kevin!
Poor reponse time. Poor planning. Offensive with billing and outlandish pricing. Doesn't complete work and has somewhat trained staff complete work. Doesn't listen to anything planned and makes own decisions. Would not recommend. Get an actual professional.
Kevin A. Escott and his team were fantastic. They did a great job, they worked hard, everything was done on a timely basis, and the basement looks beautiful. People who never saw our basement say it looks great. People who saw it before are literally speechless. They can not believe that the horrible pit was transformed into a beautiful living space. All the workmen were considerate, always closing our gate so that dog wouldn't get out. They even took away some of the junk that was still left in the basement after it was cleaned out. I was able to return the second bagster I purchased because we didn't need out. I highly recommend them.
