Start with the house flipper. In an August 2026 review, a customer who rehabs and flips homes wrote that of the three or four painting companies they had used, two would cancel more than show up — and then they met Al. Al is Alencar, who owns Essential Painting Company in Leominster; the company describes itself as a New England painting and carpentry contractor covering interior and exterior painting, carpentry, deck painting, pressure washing and cabinet painting, residential and commercial. The carpentry is not a footnote. A September 2025 customer had the crew rebuild a deck, stain and paint the exterior and reframe all the windows. In an April 2024 job, they removed columns and replaced an LVL beam between a living and dining room while painting inside and out, and a June 2024 homeowner's basic trim repair grew into bigger repairs and then whole-house painting. On the painting, it is the prep that customers write about. A November 2024 homeowner whose walls were riddled with holes left by the prior owners described them patched, sanded and primed, and said the crew was meticulous with the edging; an April 2025 customer said Al matched the color to a T on interior work full of cutting in. The front end is orderly too — an October 2024 customer got a thorough walk-around from Al and an itemized quote the next day, and a June 2024 crew ran daily check-ins. Price turns up in review after review as reasonable, fair or well priced, and cleanup with it: a May 2026 exterior crew power washed through the rain, finished in good time and cleaned up at the end of each work day, and a 2023 Angi reviewer singled out how carefully the crew protected shrubs and flowers. Two things to raise before booking. One July 2025 reviewer left a single star with the words "Rude staff". And the company answers to two names — reviewers write about Essential Painting Company and Essential Home Service LLC for the same owner and crew — so check which one goes on your contract. A strong call for an exterior repaint where trim, siding or a deck needs rebuilding before the brush comes out, and for interior work where patching and cutting in decide the result. Ask for the itemized quote at the walk-around, and confirm the business name on the paperwork.
Please Stop 🛑 and read my review I have done several flips and rehabbing of homes. There are many painting companies to choose from out there. I personally have used three or four of those companies in which two of them would cancel more than show up. And then,,,, I met Al with essential home services And it changed my complete Perspective on Painting contractors. From the very first day, Al showed up at the house. I am renovating he he suggested that he would recommend only doing what is necessary to make this home. Look acceptable in above average.. His quality of work and his team is 💎💎Outstanding. He arrives at 7 AM in the morning and works until 7 PM. He will do anything and everything to help a homeowner or a contractor making his project or dream home looking exceptional. He is a man of high character,, integrity and faith. I promise that if you choose L it will be a relationship you will have for a long time not just professional, but has become a very close friend They actually need to give you an option of 10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fantastic experience with Essential Home Service LLC! They did an outstanding job from start to finish on our exterior paint job. The crew was extremely thorough, efficient, and paid great attention to every detail. Communication throughout the project was excellent—they kept us informed every step of the way and were always responsive to our questions. On top of the quality workmanship and professionalism, their pricing was very reasonable. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exterior painters.
