Essex Design Build

Essex Design Build is a design-build remodeling practice serving Boston's North Shore and Gold Coast, working on kitchens, bathrooms, room additions and exteriors, including open-concept layouts and restorations of coastal and historic homes. The company says it's led by design principal Joe Dellanno, who it credits with also founding a separate firm, Design Solutions Inc., in 1994, alongside design-build specialist Gordon Gauntlett. Its stated service area spans fifteen North Shore towns, from Boxford and Danvers down through Ipswich, Marblehead, Newburyport and Swampscott. There's no independent customer feedback on file yet to weigh against that self-description, so it's worth asking directly about recent project references and timelines before committing to a design-build engagement of this scope.
