Exela Movers builds its pitch around one specific promise: no brokers, no van lines, only Exela's own employees on the job, from a next-door apartment move to a cross-country haul. The company was founded in 2015 by owner Alexe Suciu, and that direct-employee model shows up again and again in what customers actually describe. This year's reviews are a clean run — 21 five-star reviews since January, and not one complaint among them. On a 100-degree day, a crew moving one family in didn't slow down; another customer's long-distance move got a personal, same-day response from Alexe himself when the timeline got tight; a full-house move from Massachusetts to New Hampshire ended with the crew treating someone else's furniture, in the reviewer's words, like their own. Several customers have used Exela three separate times inside six months and keep coming back. Further back in the company's history, two different threads are worth knowing about. A couple of older reviews describe disagreements over how travel time between Exela's warehouse and the job gets counted against the stated hourly minimum — worth asking to have spelled out before booking. One older review also describes a dispute over items arriving damaged, and said the response from ownership felt dismissive rather than helpful. Neither shows up in anything from the last six months, but they're real enough to raise before moving day, not after. Independent sources line up with what the reviews describe: a moving-industry analysis site placed Exela in the 97th percentile of Massachusetts movers, and Boston Magazine named it a Best of Boston 2024 winner for movers. Exela is a fit for anyone who wants a move handled start to finish by one crew rather than passed to a subcontractor, especially for interstate or long-distance jobs where broker hand-offs are the more common way things go wrong. Get the travel-time policy and the hourly minimum in writing before booking, and ask for a specific crew if a recent review names someone you liked.

I could not reccomend Exela more! The two men carefully packed up all of our stuff with both speed yet great care - were communicative the entire time- and so kind and reliable. We will use them again.

100/5 stars for Daniel, Miki, and Joseph! They went above and beyond making sure everything was moved securely and safely into our new home. They helped us place everything into the correct spot. They were fast, friendly, and communicated each step with us. It was 100 degrees today and they didn’t slow down or complain. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!!

We had 3 movers from Exela Movers who helped us, Igor, Rados, and Dan Boc and I could not recommend them more! They worked extremely hard and communicated with us throughout the move. All of our items arrived in great condition and they were so kind and helpful!
