F.D. Jones Electric

Installed a Generac generator. Provided annual service. My experience with FD Jones couldn't have been any worse. He installed my Generac generator, which was t he wrong one, and then had to remove it and install the correct one. His service is horrible. His office staff can not answer a single question. It's always, Dave handles that. Call him in the morning. He rarely returns a call until you call at least twice. He has a total of 2 or 3 people, all his family (other than the women who answers the phone). Look at his projects. Fewer and fewer year after year. Why, one reason is that most of his staff has left. Only his son and his brother remain. Simply, do not hire him.

My husband and I rent a house. The smoke detectors were acting up and our landlady authorized us to call an electrician to repair them. We called FD Jones Electric. The owner/operator came out with his son (age 14/15?) and removed one of the smoke detectors and said he would return shortly to replace it and a couple others. A month passed without any repair/contact from the company. My husband finally called to find out what was going on. A journeyman and the owner's son (same 14/15 year old) showed up, spent about 15 minutes replacing three detectors, and left. Two weeks later we received a bill charging us for four (not three) detectors and an hour's worth of Journeyman and "apprentice" labor. The bill totaled $330.36. Unbelievable. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. They are totally unprofessional and a rip off.
