Fabio's Construction has been building and renovating homes around Concord since 2005, when owner Fabio Andrade started it as a one-person operation; today it's grown into a full renovation and historic-preservation outfit, and reviewers repeatedly credit project managers Emerson, Bruno and Junior for the day-to-day work. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and verified against the state registry. The clearest theme across 26 reviews from 2021 through this year is the range and scale of what they take on: basement renovations that turn unfinished space into finished living areas, home additions, and historic work careful enough to earn a 2018 recognition from Concord's Historical Commission for a sympathetic addition. Several reviews from this spring describe recent projects in similar terms — a jewelry studio built out from an empty shell, a full house repaint paired with a kitchen and basement remodel, and a half-bath addition alongside two renovated bathrooms — each crediting close, responsive project management. That consistency runs deep: a 2023 reviewer who used the company for a garage and barn renovation said the estimate held with no surprise upcharges, and a 2021 review credited the crew with a deck build and basement update handled with clear communication. Not every account lines up with that picture, though. A 2025 review described a missed quote appointment, with no follow-up call after the assigned estimator had to leave for an inspection, and a separate mention on a contractor discussion site raised concerns about how material deliveries, dumpsters, and site parking were managed on a project. Neither complaint recurs elsewhere among the reviews, but both are worth asking about directly when scheduling a first visit. BuildZoom's page also lists a second, since-cancelled home improvement registration number tied to the business, apart from the active one — administrative rather than a red flag, but worth asking about if it comes up. Google shows a 4.7-star average from 36 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau lists the company at an A+, without accreditation, at 14 years in business. For a full renovation, an addition, or a project on an older home where the details matter, the depth and recency of the praise here — especially the run of positive reviews this spring — points to a capable outfit. Confirm scheduling and the estimator's availability up front given the 2025 complaint, and ask how they manage deliveries and site logistics on a job like yours.
“Fabio Andrade said he is a csl holder. He has from the start mismanaged delivery of lumber and dumpsters and contractor parking”
On very rare occasion, you can stumble on excellence. I certainly did when I hired Fabios Construction. I needed to do a complete remodel and turn an almost empty shell into a fine jewelry custom design studio in West Concord. If you take a look at the before and after pictures, you'll see what I mean. I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years. A few have been good, most have not, and then there was Fabios. Nobody's perfect, but they certainly tried to be. If you have any experience with doing remodels, you may know the feelings you get when your contractors aren't communicating with you, they are making mistakes they want to charge you to fix, the price seems to keep going up even with an agreed upon budget, they disappear for days and you don't know when your project is actually going to get back on track, etc. Unfortunately that's been my experience with most contractors on most business and personal projects. Not with Bruno and his team. I had questions, they had answers. Occasionally we needed to change directions, they made it happen. I got frustrated with a few minor things, they showed up with reassurance. I needed a few extra things done, they just did it. Their price was reasonable, and I never once got dealt higher prices, unless I wanted to upgrade something. I can't recommend Fabios enough. They represent what small business should be. Honest, hard working, reliable, fair, respectful and committed to client care and satisfaction. It's how I and my team run Baraka Gems, and it's what I expect from the people we partner with. I believe that if you need a great contractor in the West Concord area, Fabios is your crew. Hire them to help your place shine!
Working with Fabio’s Construction (multiple times over the years) has been a terrific experience, and much of that is due to Emerson’s leadership as project manager. His extensive experience is evident in every conversation — he brings real wisdom, professionalism, and practical insight to the job. Emerson approaches each decision with care, explains the “why” behind his recommendations, and consistently guides the project in the right direction. We trust him implicitly and feel confident knowing someone with his expertise is overseeing the work. Truly top-notch.
It has been a true pleasure working with Fabio Construction Company and especially with Emerson as the general manager. In my experience working with various contractors over the years, this company stands far above the rest in professionalism, integrity, communication, and quality of work. One of the qualities I appreciated most about Emerson was his exceptional listening skills. He took the time to truly hear and understand my concerns, goals, and expectations. He was always prompt in returning calls and messages, making communication smooth, reassuring, and dependable throughout the entire process. What especially distinguished him was his ability to think several steps ahead. Time and again, Emerson anticipated potential issues long before I could even recognize them. Rather than simply reacting to problems, he consistently came prepared with thoughtful and effective solutions already in place. His foresight, wisdom, and experience brought tremendous peace of mind during every stage of the project. Emerson operates with extremely high standards and expects excellence not only from himself but from every individual working under his leadership. He is detail-oriented, disciplined, and deeply committed to integrity and professionalism. He maintains strict expectations for his employees regarding honesty, workmanship, punctuality, and respect toward clients. That level of accountability is reflected in the final results. Fabio Construction Company works diligently to meet their clients’ needs in a timely and efficient manner without compromising quality. Their workmanship reflects care, precision, and pride in what they do. It is rare today to find a contractor who combines strong character, exceptional leadership, excellent communication, and genuine care for the client experience. Emerson and Fabio Construction Company exemplify those qualities, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking trustworthy, high-quality construction services.
I hired Fabio’s construction to paint my entire house, remodel my kitchen and basement, add a half bathroom and renovate two bathrooms and laundry room. They did an amazing job and have gone beyond and above. I mostly worked with Emerson who is an wonderful project manager. Anytime a change was needed he worked with me, he was very responsive and responsible. I would hire them again in an instant.
We’ve had an outstanding experience with Fabio’s Construction, thanks in large part to Emerson’s exceptional project management. He is incredibly attentive and consistently responsive by phone, no matter the day or time. Emerson anticipates issues before they arise and proactively offers thoughtful solutions. He takes the time to truly understand the client and makes recommendations based on what he knows will matter most — often before we even realize it ourselves. With Emerson overseeing the project, my mind is completely at ease. Highly recommend.
