Brian Fitzpatrick of Fairwood Builders is, hands down, the most trustworthy and equally skilled contractor I have ever worked with, period. I’ve managed multiple properties and worked with countless contractors over the years, and it’s usually one or the other: either they do great work but are wildly expensive, or they’re affordable but cut corners. Brian is the rare exception who does both exceptional work and does it honestly and fairly. He is one of the most skilled workers I’ve ever seen and incredibly knowledgeable, not just in executing the work itself, but in researching the best and most effective ways to approach a project. He always walks you through his thought process, explains his mindset, and clearly lays out the “why” behind every decision. That level of transparency is rare and invaluable. Beyond his craftsmanship, Brian is one of the most trustworthy people I’ve ever met. There have been multiple times where he’s found ways to help me save money compared to initial estimates, and he consistently goes out of his way to make sure projects stay within budget without sacrificing quality. That kind of integrity is hard to find. Brian and his counterpart, Devin, are also two of the nicest, most professional people you could hope to work with. I will use them for every project moving forward and truly cannot recommend them highly enough.

I met Brian of Fairwood Builders about two years ago through my real estate business, and since that time I’ve gotten to know him and see his work firsthand — it’s truly exceptional. My husband was especially impressed with Brian’s precision and the finishing touches he added to the railing system to give it a truly polished look. Fairwood Builders built our ADU (grandmother’s suite) this year and we couldn’t be happier with the completed product. Brian and his assistant, Deven, were the utmost professionals and very reliable. Brian was FANTASTIC from start to finish. When we first met with him while trying to choose a contractor, it was clear from the initial meeting that he knew his trade inside and out. He started the job in Dec 2021 and completed by end of March 2022. He went above and beyond and was on the job EVERY day vs other contractors that juggle multiple jobs at the same time. He and his small team were responsive to our continually evolving needs and added some of our side projects along the way to fill for supply chain delivery delays. Brian is a meticulous, and perfectionist craftsman with great design sense and you couldn’t go wrong in selecting him and his team.
