Contracting's reviews live in: the job nobody planned for, handled quickly. Joe is the name in nearly every account. The Peabody outfit takes the whole spread of residential construction — framing, decks, porches, kitchens, doors and full rebuilds. In April 2026 a homeowner wrote that the crew rebuilt the entire front of a house that had caught fire, did it fast and at the best price they had been quoted, and came back a few months later to remodel the bathroom. The written history is 11 Google reviews, all five stars, running from mid-2023 to June 2026, three of them in the last few months. Two themes repeat. The first is showing up: an April 2026 reviewer who uses them for his own house and his restaurants said they arrive when they say they will and get it right the first time. The second is price discipline — a November 2023 customer with a complicated framing job noted the quote was fair and never changed, and an August 2023 homeowner who had hidden water damage uncovered mid-project wrote that Joe could have named any number and instead quoted low. Tidiness comes up almost as often as the work itself: a June 2026 reviewer described the work area left spotless, and a January 2024 customer said job sites were always kept clean. One practical warning before you go looking them up: search results for the name are muddled. A separate RSG Contracting operates out of 96 Stedman St in Lowell, and the reviews attached to that company are not this one's. Beyond that, the whole written history sits on a single platform, so for a structural rebuild rather than a room, it is worth asking to see a comparable finished job before you commit.
