R.G.S. Contracting

R.G.S. Contracting is a Peabody outfit whose Google reviews read less like routine remodels and more like a highlight reel of hard problems solved fast. Joe and his crew show up in accounts of a house fire, a car crashing into a home, and extensive water damage — each time restoring the property on a tight, unplanned timeline rather than a scheduled renovation. The 11 reviews on file, spanning 2023 to 2026, are unanimously five stars. One customer describes RGS rebuilding the entire front of a home after a fire, then coming back months later to remodel the bathroom too. Another recounts a drunk driver crashing into their house and knocking out the gas line — Joe's team had plumbing and heat restored within a day. A third had extensive water damage and says Joe gave a fair price to fix everything rather than taking advantage of a homeowner with no other choice. Beyond emergency work, reviewers repeatedly single out the carpentry: framing a complicated job fast with a price that didn't change, a deck rebuild, a porch transformation customers call beyond what they imagined, and a sliding door install at a condo. One long-time customer says he's used RGS both at home and across his restaurants. Nothing in the written record raises a concern — no complaint about scheduling, pricing changes, or follow-through shows up across the 11 reviews. For anything from a framing or deck project to an urgent fix after storm or fire damage, this is a crew whose reviewers keep describing the same thing: fast, priced fairly up front, and left clean when the job is done.
