Valdi and his crew were fantastic. Very communicative throughout the process, provided recommendations and asked for input when needed, and were flexible with last minute design decisions from me. I’d highly recommend them! Before and after pictures attached.

We hired Fernandes Construction to remove our peeling cedar shingles and front siding. We had them use James Hardie fiber cement shingles and siding. You could not ask for harder workers. They came early and worked late. They did an excellent job and cleaned up every night. They found an area that had rotten wood because of a drainage issue and they expertly repaired it. They also had to add Azek to replace what we had as it needed to be wider to accommodate the shingles. We got a few quotes and they were not the cheapest but the material is expensive as it is fire, weather and insect proof. Very happy with our choice. I have added a few before and after photos.

We recently hired Fernandes Construction to replace our old rotting cedar siding with new James Hardie siding and trim, along with replacing 5 sliding doors and 20 windows and trims — and we could not be happier with the results. Valdi and his entire team were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They worked incredibly hard, often 6 days a week, and consistently made sure everything was left clean, organized, and perfect at the end of each day. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship truly show in the finished product. Our house looks brand new! Valdi was always responsive to our texts, emails, and phone calls. We had a manufacturer issue with one of the sliders, and Valdi handled it for us immediately and professionally. His pricing was very fair and competitive, and his crew went above and beyond — even helping us dispose of extra cedar planks we needed removed. The new James Hardie siding looks beautiful, and we know it will last for decades. We highly recommend Fernandes Construction and will absolutely use Valdi and his team again for future renovations.

Valdi and his team were so impressive, thorough, and helpful throughout the entire process. They were super responsive to every question I had and were proactive in offering solutions not only to additional areas that may be impacted by the new siding/trim, but to areas I didn’t even notice such as animals digging a hole into my roofing. The team worked quickly, efficiently, and effectively 6 days a week to complete the project in under 2 weeks. It looks like a completely new house and I couldn’t be happier with the work.
