Ferragamo Custom Builders

Ferragamo Custom Builders is a family-owned general contracting and custom-home building company based in Wakefield, Massachusetts, run by Chris Ferragamo, with the business reporting over 30 years in the trade. The company's own listed services span custom home construction, home additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, roofing, siding, finish carpentry, flooring, and insulation, and BuildZoom separately shows the company holding building-contractor, electrical-contractor, and home-improvement-contractor licenses. The written reviews on file, four of them dated 2024 and 2025, are uniformly positive. A 2025 review calls a roof replacement "terrific," "very professional and detail oriented" at a reasonable price. An earlier 2025 review credits the company with prior trim carpentry and roofing work, both described as a great job. A 2024 review describes a kitchen project that involved substantial electrical work and cutting laminate to fit a new stove so it looked custom-made. A separate Google review simply says the reviewer would highly recommend Chris. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show a 4.9-star rating from 13 reviews (77% five-star, 8% four-star), and the company's Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (#167732) is registry-verified active. The Better Business Bureau lists the company as A+ accredited. Nothing in the record raises a concern. Ferragamo looks like a strong, broad-capability choice for remodeling and custom-build work — kitchens, additions, roofing, and finish carpentry — backed by an active license, strong accreditation, and specific, detailed praise for both craftsmanship and problem-solving on real jobs, though the public written-review count is still relatively small for a 30-year operation.
