Field Home Inspections

It was easy to schedule the inspection of my home under purchase contract and his report was well done. However, he failed to notice the moss on the roof which resulted in a cancellation notice from my insurance company. He pointed out failed seal on a double pane sliding window, which was easy to correct. But he did not highlight that 4 large trapezoidal windows had failed seals, each costing $1000 to replace.

I’ve used Peter for four home inspections now, three of those 4 homes have been purchased, and I wouldn’t consider using another inspector. He is extremely thorough, but most importantly, he approaches inspections realistically — especially when it comes to older buildings.
