If you own an electric car in the Merrimack Valley, there is a decent chance someone has already told you to call Kyle. EV charger work runs through Figueroa Electric's reviews like a thread — load calculations done inside a day, chargers mounted and commissioned, the homeowner walked through how it all works before the truck leaves. The company works out of Methuen and describes itself as a residential, commercial and industrial electrical contractor, handling installation, diagnosis and repair, infrared testing, maintenance and data wiring, with Boston listed as its service area and roughly a decade in the trade — its own account of itself, not something confirmed independently. The reviews are where it gets concrete. Google shows 5 stars across 163 ratings, and the recent months are unbroken: one customer had a charger installed after a FaceTime call to inspect the panel and a load calculation returned within 24 hours, then had a dead outlet fixed while the crew was on site. Another had two Ring floodlight cameras installed on a second story and got talked out of his original mounting spots because the wiring runs did not work — practical alternatives suggested instead. A third had spent days chasing electricians for two roof-mount attic fans; five calls, one callback, a four-to-six-week wait — Kyle answered within the hour and did the job the same day. Panel upgrades, light switches, outlet removals, fixture repairs all show up too. The recurring notes are responsiveness and explanation. People mention quick callbacks, virtual estimates, appointments on short notice, and being told what is happening at each step. Several describe a clean, tidy job site and a crew that is courteous about being inside someone's house. One thing worth going in clear-eyed about: this is not budget pricing, and one reviewer said so plainly. He paid $900 for two floodlight cameras — $450 each for about three hours of work with a licensed electrician and an assistant on a ladder — and called it reasonable precisely because Figueroa is a full electrical outfit, not a handyman. Get the written estimate first; reviewers describe the estimates as detailed, so the number should not move on you. The fit here is homeowners who want an EV charger, a panel upgrade, or camera and lighting work done properly and documented, and who would rather pay electrician rates than hunt for the cheapest quote. Ask what the quote covers and whether a permit is being pulled.

Kyle helped me out with a Tesla charger installation and an emergency call. Both times were a great experience and I would highly recommend him.

I had Figueroa install 2 ring floodlight cameras on the second story of my home. Kyle was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to point out issues wiring to one of locations I originally wanted and suggested practical alternative locations. Kyle is a full electrician, not a handyman, and his rates reflect that. The entire process took about 3 hours from arrival to completion, and he charged $900 ($450 per light), which I feel is perfectly reasonable for a licensed electrician and his assistant for 3 hours of work up a ladder. I'll definitely use Figueroa for any future electrical work I need around my house.

I worked with Figueroa Electric to install a EV Charger. From the start Kyle had great communication. Quickly replied to my request and did a FaceTime call to show him my panel and electrical situation. Performed a load calculation in 24hrs to confirm I could have it installed and then we set up an appointment to get it done. He showed up on time, walked me through the plan and got it done with no issue. While he was here he even took a look at an outlet that wasn’t working and quickly got that sorted as well. Can’t recommend them enough!

I had been trying to get an electrician to come out and connect up two roof-mount fans I had installed a couple days prior to cool down my attic and AC. Before finding Kyle, I called five other electricians, only one called back and it was a four to six week wait. When I called Kyle, he got back to me within the hour and was able to do the work same day. He was organized, professional, clean (wore booties and cleaned up after he was done), and thoughtful in how he approached the job. He approached and completed the work the way you hope someone will when you invite them into your home. He routed and dressed the cables in cleanly, secured them every ~16 inches, and included service loops. He also put the fans on a switch to make it easier for maintenance. I couldn’t be happier with the work and experience. He is also a good guy and I enjoyed speaking with him. I look forward to working with him in the future to run power in my garage.

Figueroa performed a comprehensive home electrical panel upgrade and EV charger installation. The team led by Kyle engaged in advanced planning and analysis while explaining each phase of the work with full clarity. The resulting work is representative of extreme professionalism, pride and workmanship, and precise accuracy. All components are thoroughly mounted, verified, checked, and Kyle himself performed a walkthrough to demonstrate all changes and the EV charger operation. From a price perspective, Figueroa was transparent and engaging during our estimation process. The price point was excellent, value incredible, and I’m very pleased with the results. I strongly recommend Figueroa and will use them for other electrical projects in the future. Great company!!!

What does electrical work cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Figueroa Electric and Integration. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
