In a March 2025 Google review, a customer had a light installed over the basement stairs, another in a pantry closet and a timer switch for a whole-house fan; Mike researched and ordered the right timer for the outdated fan and also installed GFIs. A January 2025 reviewer said Mike installed a new breaker, dealt with the hassles of getting a new range working and showed up on Christmas Eve. Another March 2025 reviewer had several light fixtures installed and a satellite dish removed, and said Michael came back months later to change a stairwell bulb at no cost. In a 2022 Google review, a homeowner described the electrical side of a kitchen remodel: under-cabinet lighting, pendants over the island, dedicated circuits and switches, and power relocated to an in-drawer microwave after the countertop was in. A December 2022 customer had a transfer switch and generator inlet box installed for a portable emergency generator. In July 2022, a reviewer with flickering lights and an occasionally tripping breaker said Mike fixed the flicker and saved them a panel replacement. In an August 2023 review, Michael confirmed a power problem was a National Grid issue and did not charge for the visit. Michael is an experienced professional who provides exceptional service. He installed several light fixtures at my house and removed a satellite dish from the side of my house. He even came back months later to switch out a light bulb in my stairwell that I couldn’t access at no cost. My wife and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area!
Aug. 2024 we called Michael Hamel to install a light over our basement staircase, install a light in a pantry closet, install Timer/Off/On Switch for a Whole House Fan. Mike quoted us a very fair price, researched for the proper timer for our outdated fan and ordered it for us, and also installed GFIs. He explained exactly what he was going to do in a manner which we could understand. He came timely and did the work in a very professional manner. He was attentive thereafter to any questions we would have. We are 5+Star pleased with his work and ethics and are planning to call him again to do some other work.
Mike went above and beyond installing new breaker and dealing with assorted hassles getting my new range to work, charged EXTREMELY fair price, and showed up on time (even on Christmas Eve). I could not have asked for a better experience. I will be relying on Mike for any and all electrical work I need in the future
We hired Michael J Hamel to install a decorative light fixture and two heat detectors in our garage. He was responsive, efficient, a great communicator, and charged a very competitive price.
