Floor Coverings International of Cape Cod is a locally owned flooring franchise based in Pocasset, run by brothers Tim and Matt Beauregard, offering in-home flooring consultations via a mobile showroom across Cape Cod. The Better Business Bureau lists the company at an A+ grade, and Google shows a 4.9-star rating from 237 ratings. Most reviewers describe a strong sales-to-install experience: reviewers consistently praise Matt, Tim, Beau, and installers Craig, Ron, and Noye for responsive communication, accurate cost estimates, and quality hardwood, LVP, and carpet installation across bedrooms, kitchens, basements, and whole-first-floor projects. Several reviewers highlight competitive pricing against retail-store bids and willingness to take on smaller jobs other contractors declined. Recent activity has been mostly positive, with 13 reviews in the last six months and one negative. Against that record sits a recurring, genuine pattern of complaints about sales approach and installation follow-through. A May 2026 review said a salesman was deceptive about a product that did not perform as described, and a February 2026 review described feeling steered toward what benefited the company rather than the customer during the sales visit. On the installation side, a January 2026 review described installers returning three times without fixing a mistake before the owner said there was nothing more he could do, a 2025 review (dated 2023 installation) said the company installed flooring over existing tile against advice, which later caused the new floor to raise, and a 2023 review described missing delivered items that were later found sitting in the company's own warehouse. Some of these were resolved once escalated — one reviewer described a co-owner personally stepping in to fix a rough start with subcontractors — while others describe no resolution. Overall, the volume and consistency of positive, specific praise for the sales and install process substantially outweighs the complaints, but the recurring theme of sales-approach and installation follow-through issues is worth asking about directly before booking.
I highly recommend this flooring company! They did an amazing job from start to finish. The crew was professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail. The finished floors look beautiful, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for reliable, skilled installers, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! Tim and Kraig were great! Excellent customer service
Matt was outstanding from the first appointment. Installation was super. Ron & Noye worked so hard! The carpets are gorgeous! Nicest I’ve ever had! So incredibly grateful!!!!
If you are looking for flooring I highly recommend this company. They are in constant communication, on time and very professional. The installers are pleasant and professional as well. Check them out you will not be disappointed. PS I am very fussy.
The owner came out to show us the product and was excellent. The manager was great booking the appt. The workers that did the job were amazing. We are very happy with our floor and want them to do another one for us.
We had Floor Coverings International (FCI) of Cape Cod replace an old carpet in our bedroom. The did a GREAT job!! We received 2 bids on the job: one from a downtown retail store and the other from FCI. FCI was over $2000 less!! The savings were not in the quality of the materials but in things like furniture move and freight charges. Communication from scheduling the install to actual installation was exceptional. Really pleased with the outcome. Nice job!
