Floor Trader of Williston is a flooring store that also handles installation, and it holds a 4.9-star average from 22 Google ratings. A recent customer said they do a lot of business with the store and called Tyler and Allison great to deal with. A 2026 customer came in to replace 37-year-old flooring after a 37-year-old water pipe burst, and said Tyler, Richard and Ally took the time to narrow down the options. That 2026 customer wrote that the installation of the hardwood and the carpet was done with professionalism, courtesy and skill. In a 2025 review, a long-term assisted living facility said its dining room floor was done in one day so as not to displace the elderly, with the crews working well past normal hours. A 2025 customer said Tyler and team redid a faulty floor install done by a previous contractor. A 2024 reviewer who manages over 500 apartment rentals called the company one of their go-to companies for carpet and flooring. A 2025 customer gave three stars after a subcontractor failed to show up several times; another company then showed up short of men and stopped in the middle, so the job took days longer. That 2025 customer said the installers got leveling cement on the cabinets and stove and left tacky glue on the vinyl plank. In an update to that 2025 review, the customer wrote that the owner responded and offered to address the situation with a different subcontractor.
We do a lot of business with Floor traders. A great high quality product at a reasonable price. Tyler and Allison are great to deal with.
Tyler is a really great guy and we were happy to do business with him. We looked at a lot of flooring at a lot of flooring stores and next time we’ll only shop at Floor Trader. Not only did he get us a really competitive price, he clearly appreciates his customers and takes the time to do things right.
Went to Floor Trader to replace 37 year old flooring after a 37 year old water pipe decided it was tired and burst! Everyone we worked with at Floor Trader of Williston (Tyler, Richard, and Ally) were terrific beginning with the selection process (and we knew nothing about all the current flooring options), taking the time to work with us and narrow down the myriad of options. Estimates of the options we discussed were promptly presented, further questions answered, selections made, and scheduling set in consultation with the contractor. And we can't say enough about the installers of both the hardwood and flooring (Anthony and Brandon) and the carpet (Rich and Alix). Installation was done with professionalism, courtesy, and skill. The rooms not damaged by the flood are feeling neglected and are now begging for a refresh, too, - Floor Traders is where we will go!
