Flooring Discount Professionals

Flooring Discount Professionals is a Scituate and Pembroke flooring contractor, owner-operated by Jim Bailey, who the site says started it in 1992. The work covers the whole floor aisle — luxury vinyl plank and tile, broadloom carpet and carpet tiles, ceramic tile, hardwood and engineered wood — on commercial and residential jobs, with free estimates and 24-hour emergency service. Two reviews sit on its Better Business Bureau page, and they tell opposite stories. One praises the job and the communication all the way through. The other accuses the company of taking money and never finishing the work, with the amount still unpaid after repeated requests. BBB gives the business an A+ letter grade and lists it as non-accredited. Money and completion are what to settle here before anyone lifts a plank. Put the scope, the materials and a payment schedule tied to finished stages in writing, hold the final payment until the floor is down and you have walked it, and ask for two or three recent local jobs you can go look at.
