Foley & Sons Floor & Tile - The Faucetorium

Foley & Sons has been a Maynard fixture since 1973, when Chuck Foley started out selling tile from his truck before opening a store on Powder Mill Road and later buying the Main Street building that also houses The Faucetorium, its plumbing-fixtures side. The Better Business Bureau has accredited the company since 1982 and rates it A+. The review record is thin — six reviews total — and split. In a 2024 review, a customer credits Chuck and his staff with completing multiple jobs on time, calling the results spectacular and noting they'll help track down issues on past work when asked; another 2024 review describes a bathroom renovation that went smoothly from estimate through completion. A 2023 review describes the showroom staff as helpful without being pushy, with a wide range of tile, fixture and flooring samples to browse. The most recent review, from mid-2026, tells a different story: the customer says they spent several visits picking tile and fixtures and had someone come out to measure for an estimate, then never heard from the company again. That's worth asking about directly if you're early in the process — confirm someone will follow up with an actual quote before investing more time in the showroom.
