G & S Floor Service

G & S Floor Service works in wood — installing it, sanding it, refinishing it and repairing it — out of Lynn. Alongside standard hardwood, the company lists wide-plank, reclaimed, engineered and radiant-heat installations, plus hardwood staircases, for both homes and commercial spaces. Its stated service area reaches out from Lynn to Beverly, Marblehead, Salem and Wellesley, and the company says it has been at this for 19 years. It also lists membership in the National Wood Flooring Association and the use of FSC-certified wood flooring products. A 2019 page in Hardwood Floors Magazine names Sayaphone Phommachanh, CSF, CSA, with G & S Floor Service in Lynn. This is the shop to call when the floor itself is the job — reviving an old oak floor, matching reclaimed boards, or laying wood over radiant heat, all of which reward someone who has done that particular work before. Ask which of those installations they have handled nearby, get the sanding and finishing schedule in writing, and confirm insurance before the crew starts.
