What does a hardwood floor cost in Greater Hartford?
Typical your area range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from G FLOORING LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
G Flooring LLC installs carpet and hardwood floors, and the company says it has been in business 17 years.
A recent Google customer needed wall-to-wall carpet quickly for arriving guests: Luis came to measure and installed carpet in three bedrooms, a hallway and stairs with a landing in the same week, with the install itself done in one day. When that customer could not source carpet in time, he suggested a place to buy it and spoke to the owners to get the order onto the next incoming truck. A recent customer had Luis redo their entire upstairs floors and said he was available whenever they had questions. A recent customer said Luis shows up on time, stays late to finish the job and cleans up afterward.
A 2026 customer said hardwood flooring was installed in their guest bedroom on time and on budget, and was still beautiful one year after installation. A 2026 customer said the company gave a free quote at their business and did the job overnight, during off-business hours. A 2026 customer said the contractor made sure the temperature in their basement was correct and worked all day to finish. A 2025 customer, writing about their first home, said Luis and his team were fast and punctual and the cost was reasonable.
Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0701382, as active, held by G Flooring LLC.

Great work I used him in one of my properties and will recommended. Insured and licensed
What a great experience. I needed wall to wall carpet installed quickly for arriving guests and Luis came to measure and installed 3 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs with a landing in the same week. When I couldn't source carpeting in time, he suggested a place to purchase it and spoke to the owners to get my order onto the next incoming truck. I could not be happier with the install, which happened in one day. He has a great crew but he stayed to finish the stairs. The carpet is beautiful. Everything was cleaned. And all in, this was also reasonable in price. I highly recommend him.
We recently used Luis to redo our entire upstairs floors. He did an incredible job from start to finish and no detail was too small while he was working! He was also always available for questions whenever we had them. Could not recommend him enough for any flooring project!
I have never worked with a contractor who did exactly what he said he was going to do AND went above and beyond. Meticulous, detailed oriented, professional and left my job spotless. What I was told couldn't be done by others, HE DID. A work horse. Non stop till the job was done. He's coming back to my house! I HIGHLY recommend Luis of G Flooring. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. So happy with this job!!!!!!
