A May 2017 review on BuildZoom tells a rough story about Gary Ferzoco Electric: the customer wrote that he paid $1,150 up front for an electrical upgrade and then could not get his calls returned. BuildZoom shows a 1.0-star average from that one rating. The site otherwise lists 27 projects under this Massachusetts company's name, along with an electrician licence number, #16378. A directory's licence entry is that site's own listing rather than the state's, so look #16378 up in the Massachusetts register before you go further. If you're considering them for an electrical upgrade, put the scope and the payment schedule in writing before any deposit changes hands, confirm the licence and insurance with the state directly, and ask for a couple of recent customers you can call.
Gary is a simply rip off. He took advance ($1150) for an Electric upgrade project. Later he stopped responding to my calls. All he wants is money and run away with it. Never hire him.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Gary Ferzoco Electric. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
