Gelinas Siding and Contracting LLC says on its website that it has been in the vinyl siding business for more than 35 years. The site lists Atkinson, Chester, Danville, Derry, Hampstead, Londonderry, Pelham, Plaistow, Salem, Windham, Haverhill, Methuen, Lawrence and Essex as its service area. A recent customer writes that Ken Gelinas and his team replaced old windows on their home in Sandown, removed the old siding and replaced it with new vinyl siding, and that Ken also replaced an aging threshold on the front entrance. The same customer says the work was completed quickly, that Ken did a wonderful job at a fair price and gave guidance on design matters, and that the team was kind and friendly with their dog. In a 2009 review, a customer said they asked Ken to expand the original contract, which was to side their entire house, to also replace the outside doors and all of their windows, and said the whole house looked wonderful. That 2009 reviewer said that when they were without electricity for 8 days after the December 2008 ice storm, they stayed in the house with just a kerosene heater, crediting the additional insulation Ken installs underneath the vinyl siding and the new Harvey windows and doors.
