JR'S Handyman Services

JR's answers fast. A homeowner who called in October 2024 about a woodpecker hole in a roof eave had it patched the day after the call, in 20 minutes flat. A November 2024 customer texted about unmounting a TV before a move and had it done at noon the next day. A gutter repair in August 2024 happened the morning after the call, and an October 2022 customer had someone at the door within half an hour. The work spans what a house needs. In February 2025, a crew re-bolted a mailbox to its granite post on a freezing, windy day, picking up the supplies on the way. In 2022 they fitted nine doors in a new home — the review that brought in a 2023 customer who wanted an antique door hung in her kitchen. A 2023 customer had an old through-wall air conditioner pulled out, the hole patched and the siding replaced to match. A 2022 review pairs drywall repair with a ceiling fan install, done four days after the first call; a 2021 customer had a stair tread replaced and painted, safety treads added and a concrete repair smoothed out. Offices were put back in order for a 2022 commercial customer. Pricing and scheduling draw steady praise. A June 2024 customer got an estimate within a day, texts about when the work would happen, and a crew that arrived a day early. Reviewers from 2021 through 2024 call the prices fair. In July 2023, a customer who had confirmed the appointment twice and driven two hours to meet on site wrote that JR did not arrive, and that they called after waiting 15 minutes. For doors, gutters, drywall, mounting and household repairs around Haverhill, JR's is a quick, fairly priced call. Confirm the appointment the day before, especially if you are driving any distance to meet them.
