Genovesi Construction LLC's Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0573350, is active on the state registry. The company's website says it has been in business 30 years, and the local news site lymeline.com has named Tolland-based Genovesi Construction in its coverage. A 2022 reviewer gave the company one star over a water main project on the reviewer's street, complaining of slow turnarounds and shoddy work and saying the company blocked half the road with its trucks, worked in the other half and left the rest of the crew standing around. A 2025 reviewer gave five stars and praised Paul as someone to do business with.
“followed by Tolland-based Genovesi Construction at $19.9 million.”
“Genovesi is one of three contractors hired for the project spanning the three beach associations and a shared pump station and force main.”
Paul is great guy to do business with.
If you enjoy slow turnarounds and shoddy work then this company is for you! This company was tasked with completing a water main project on my street: it was soon evident they weren’t familiar with process improvement. While a higher performing construction company would have focused on working quickly on one half of the street, while leaving the other open for through traffic, Genovisi thought otherwise. Instead they blocked half the road with their trucks, worked in the other half, and left the remainder of the crew standing around. Tax dollars working at their finest: disappointed.
