George Hardscaping is a Gloucester, MA flooring and tile business. In a November 2018 Thumbtack review, a Gloucester customer wrote that George All Pro tiled a shower and bathroom floor, carefully cutting a lower grade travertine tile the customer supplied so that the 10% overage was enough to fit the area. The same 2018 review says George had a good solution for the edging since there were no bullnose pieces, discussed decision points before proceeding with the work, and finished on time. That 2018 reviewer suggested getting a quote face-to-face, with exactly what you need done written out, rather than over the phone. A February 2018 review praised George and his team for clean, excellent work installing new carpet flooring. A January 2018 review said George All Pro installed engineered hardwood floor in 3 rooms and that it came out good, at a good price. Another January 2018 review praised George's work on tile in a kitchen as very professional. A separate January 2018 review said a laminate floor was installed in the reviewer's new building.
George All Pro was a positive experience for me and the tiling of my shower and bathroom floor. I gave them a a lower grade travertine tile to work with and they were able to carefully cut it so that the 10% overage I had bought was enough to fit the area. He had a good solution for the edging since there were no bullnose pieces. He was always honest and responsive. He discussed any decision points with me before he proceeded with the work, and he finished ontime. I will definitely use George again for my backsplash work in the kitchen and I would have used him to install my wood floors in the kitchen if I hadn't already contracted with someone else. I have only one suggestion for working with George and that is getting a quote for the work. Don't do it over the phone. It's better to meet face-to-face and for you to have written out exactly what you need done to you make sure you are talking apples-to-apples with him. He is very honest and will give a fair price for each stage of the work that needs to be done. In my case when he gave me the first price, I thought he was including the cost of wall prep: the cement board and waterproofing in his quote and it was unbelievable low. Billie Jean Gloucester, MA
