Gibbs Rubbish & Brush Removal

I am more than satisfied with the service provided by Gibbs. They have been our trash haulers for 7 years. Everyone at Gibbs is friendly, kind and helpful. I always try to work with local service providers and I feel that with Gibbs I have a relationship with a neighbor. Kayla has been very helpful when I needed assistance.

Caution: AVOID GIBBS. I used this service because they were reasonably priced and locally owned. Throughout the two years of service I had over a dozen missed pick ups and had to email and call several times to get them to pick up the recycling and trash. If you do get someone on the phone (rare), they sound annoyed that they even have to speak to you. I switched to Nauset. Two days later, an unmarked pick-up truck pulled into my driveway and started to load the Gibbs totes into his truck. I distinctly remember paying $75 each for the totes. Assuming they were now my property, I asked him why he was taking them. He was extremely rude, said it was his property, and said there was no way I paid for the totes. Then, he admitted that I "may have" paid a deposit but that I needed to call the office. When I asked him to put the totes back, he told me that his "parents were the owners" and drove off. I still have yet to receive my refundable deposit for the totes. Just avoid these scammers.

RUN DO NOT WALK away from these people. The son of the owners just showed up on our property to retrieve their bins after we canceled service. Why did we cancel service? Because they would not show up; we'd call the office and get rescheduled; they'd no show again etc. etc. This was not weather related; this was poor management. Anyway one of the owners just showed up, started swearing, name calling, profanity galore. Mistakes happen; but to not own those mistakes, and to then send an owner to someone's house where they threaten you and start swearing at you... unreal.

Not sure why this company has all these bad reviews. I forget my trash so much trying to get my children ready in the morning, and every time I do, they come down to the side of my house to get it. No other company has done that for us. Family own and operated sandwich business. You guys are the best
